The primary objective of this project was to significantly reduce costs, a goal that was accomplished by opting for a hairline finish on stainless steel, down to the handrail. This material was chosen for its cost-effectiveness, without sacrificing quality or aesthetic appeal. The ingenious design of the project incorporates slits along the ceiling, a creative and practical solution that effectively eliminates the need for fan grills. Traditionally, fan grills tend to attract and accumulate dust, which can lead to maintenance issues over time. By eliminating them from the design, the project aims to minimise these potential issues. To ensure adequate ventilation, the design has taken into account the need for airflow. Ventilation is facilitated through three sides of the grooves, ensuring that the structure can maintain a comfortable temperature and air quality, whilst also taking into account the aesthetic and design integrity of the project.
