As we wrapped up 2024 and prepared for our speech at the annual dinner during the last week of November, we took a moment to reflect on the journey we’ve had this year. It became clear there were many milestones worth celebrating, and in this blog post, we’ve chosen to highlight the three most significant moments that defined our year.

We begin with our move to a larger, integrated workspace, a step that has transformed the way we work and serve our customers. This is followed by our flawless performance in the rigorous BCA safety audits. Finally, we explore the introduction of FlexStep to Singapore, an innovative solution that is aligned with our vision for the future of urban mobility. Join us as we reflect on these achievements.
A New Home for Continued Growth
In December 2023, we relocated to a new, spacious home. This 13,000-square-foot facility combines our office and warehouse under one roof. Previously operating from separate locations, this integration has transformed how we work. Streamlining communication and collaboration across our teams. The move reflects our commitment to serving our customers more effectively.

To celebrate this achievement, we welcomed the new year with a Lunar New Year open house, inviting our employees and partners to experience the new space. It was a time to connect, share aspirations, and showcase our forward-thinking environment. The design of the office was led by Knock Knock Studio, a partner whose philosophy of “knocking down doors” aligns with our values of creativity and collaboration. This partnership resulted in a workspace that continues to foster meaningful connections.
Since our Lunar New Year open house, we have continued improving the space. One notable addition is a distinctive artwork crafted from recycled lift circuitry. This installation symbolises the unseen complexities behind every smooth and seamless lift journey, mirroring our dedication to proactive care and reliability. By transforming what might have been discarded into something meaningful, we have demonstrated our commitment to thoughtful design.
Raising the Bar with 100% BCA Audit Success

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) audit is a rigorous assessment designed to uphold the highest safety and maintenance standards for lifts and escalators in Singapore.
These audits assess compliance with the Building Maintenance and Strata Management Regulations, examining key areas like lift car door maintenance, emergency power systems, and adherence to testing procedures. As registered lift and escalator contractors, we ensure all equipment meets stringent safety requirements and performance standards. Through proactive fault detection and resolution, these audits help maintain the optimal functioning of your lifts and escalators.
In 2024, we achieved a perfect 100% passing rate in BCA audits across the first three quarters (the final quarter's results were still being tallied when this post was written). This accomplishment reflects our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability. Each audit success is a testament to the care we apply to every aspect of our maintenance and operations. Our success in these audits also translates to peace of mind for our customers.
Redefining Accessibility with FlexStep

FlexStep, developed by LiftUp, is a groundbreaking mobility solution designed to address accessibility challenges in both residential and commercial spaces. At its core, FlexStep functions as both a staircase and a wheelchair lift, transforming between modes at the touch of a button. This dual functionality eliminates the need for separate installations, making it an ideal solution for spaces where room is limited.
FlexStep’s compact design can accommodate up to six steps, providing a seamless solution for environments where ramps or traditional wheelchair lifts may not be feasible. The FlexStep comes equipped with advanced safety sensors and provides seamless transitions between staircase and lift modes, reducing physical strain and risks for users. As each FlexStep can be customised to match the surrounding interior, it ensures that aesthetics are never compromised.
In Singapore, where space is often limited and the population is ageing, solutions like FlexStep are particularly significant. The city-state’s push for inclusivity, as seen in projects like Kampung Admiralty, highlights the growing need for advanced accessibility tools that cater to diverse needs. With its ability to save space and blend seamlessly into urban settings, FlexStep is well-suited for flats, shops, restaurants, and office buildings.
As the exclusive distributor of FlexStep in Singapore, BELIFT is setting new standards for urban mobility. We see FlexStep as more than a mobility aid.
