As homes in Singapore become more personalised, the expectations around home lifts are evolving too. Today, it is no longer just about moving between floors. It is about integrating technology, design and performance in a way that complements how you live.
With 1 in 5 landed homeowners in Singapore now considering a lift to future-proof their property, the demand for solutions that are both functional and beautifully integrated has never been higher.
In this post, we take a closer look at our Meyer Road project, a home lift installation that shows how thoughtful design, smart technology and careful engineering can come together to create a seamless experience. From custom layouts to energy-saving features and intuitive automation, this project is a glimpse into what the future of home mobility can look like.
Designing for Multigenerational Living and Seamless Movement
BELIFT’s Meyer Road project is special, and not just because it looks great. It’s one of the few home lifts in Singapore to feature an adjacent-door setup (basically, two doors placed at right angles to each other).
This clever design was essential to suit Meyer Road’s unique home layout, where easy access from multiple directions mattered. It also perfectly supports multigenerational living, letting everyone move effortlessly between different spaces, whether it’s carrying groceries, hosting friends, or simply managing everyday family life.
Inside, it only gets better. The cabin boasts elegant marble finishes and custom-designed ceiling lights. So stepping into the lift feels less like a routine task, and more like entering another thoughtfully designed room in your home.
Bringing Together Form, Function and Personal Style
When it comes to landed properties, no two homes are exactly alike. We understand that well, which is why we emphasise providing flexibility in dimensions, materials, and finishes to ensure your lift doesn't just fit your home, it complements the space.
At Meyer Road, the home’s architectural design came with its own set of layout challenges. The lift needed to fit within tight spatial constraints while blending seamlessly with the property’s existing aesthetics. We worked closely with the architects to explore different options, finding the best solution that balanced both technical demands and design intent. Every detail was carefully considered, ensuring the final result worked beautifully for everyone involved.
For instance, the marble interior wasn’t just chosen for looks. It was selected specifically to resonate with the surrounding spaces, making the lift feel like a natural extension of the home.
The result is a lift that is not just functional, but thoughtfully integrated, becoming part of the home’s overall design narrative. Our HES-6800 model offers more than 10 unique styles, each of which can be customised further to meet this demand. Smart Performance You Can Feel Every Day
While the Meyer Road lift certainly looks impressive, what truly sets it apart is the combination of technology and engineering working quietly behind the scenes. IoT-enabled monitoring and AI-driven predictive maintenance keep the system running smoothly, picking up on small issues early through remote diagnostics and reducing the need for disruptive service visits.
The lift is also fitted with an energy-efficient drive system and regenerative braking, helping to reduce overall energy consumption while making every ride feel smooth and effortless. Noise-reduction measures, including vibration dampers and acoustic insulation panels, have been integrated directly into the drive system and cabin structure, ensuring that every journey between floors is smooth and quiet.
Of course, performance is not just about convenience, it is about safety too. The Meyer Road home lift fully complies with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) standards in Singapore, offering the reassurance that it meets stringent requirements for reliability, accessibility and emergency operation. The Meyer Road project shows what is possible when technology, design and performance come together with intention. It is not just about installing a lift, but about creating an experience that feels integrated, thoughtful and personal to the way people live.
From custom configurations to smart home integrations and energy-efficient engineering, every decision was made to fit the home’s unique needs while future-proofing it for years to come. This approach is what sets BELIFT apart. We believe that every home deserves a lift that feels like it was built for it. If you are considering a lift for your property and want something beyond the ordinary, we would be happy to explore what is possible together.
